Celebrating 10 years of Mr Jones Watches: a round up of events
Ten years ago, British designer Crispin Jones produced five very unusual watches.
As the years have passed, the collection has grown and so has the team. To celebrate this landmark, we held an exhibition of our unusual designs in the gallery at Oxo Tower Wharf.
We moved over our London studio for the exhibition (we’re usually hidden away in Camberwell, South London). So you could see our pad printer, the inks that we’ve mix by hand, and all of the tools of watch assembly.
You could see watches being printed and built, and our team were on hand to answer questions, give demonstrations (and even some mini watch making lessons!)

Watch glass, which has been printed by one of our customers (with a little help from Paul, our print technician).
We also held a treasure hunt for the event.
Each day of the exhibition, we hid an image of a watch in the local area and posted a photo of it on social media. The first person to find the photo and bring it back to the shop won a free watch!
Here are some of the talented treasure hunt winners:
The exhibition was a great opportunity to meet our loyal customers, new people and show off what we do best – designing and making completely unusual watches.
Window display of King and Queen watch glasses, each showing a different stage of print.
Gilpin’s sponsored our private view (seriously good gin).
Did you make it to our exhibition? Were you brave enough to have a go at watch making?
