Meet our team: Ellie McAllister

We thought it was about time our fab General Manager, Ellie - who is also the brains behind our new line of T-shirts - had her very own spot on our blog!

Ellie supports Crispin with our business operations and oversees our customer service team. She plays a vital role in managing our stock, both from our workshops and in our Covent Garden shop - we would be lost without her keen eye and stellar organisation.

She is also the very talented designer behind our new line of unisex Mr Jones Watches T-shirts, inspired by the office dogs: Stanley, Shrimpy, Woody and Wren. 

“Designing the t-shirts was an exciting opportunity to work on something creative for the company. My role revolves around admin tasks, so I loved being able to channel my energy into design!"

Tell us about yourself

“I’m Yorkshire born and bred. After graduating from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in fashion, I moved down south to London in 2018 to start my career and have been at Mr Jones Watches ever since!”

What’s your role at Mr Jones Watches? 

“I first started as a Studio Assistant five years ago, answering all your customer emails and packing up orders. I was given the opportunity to take on more responsibility and grew into my role of General Manager and have continued to help and watch the company flourish into what it is today!”

What do you like doing in your free time? 

“I love spending time with my friends, exploring new and exciting places around London… I have also recently begun reading again and I can’t put them down - I’ve read five books in two weeks!”

Who is your favourite office dog? 

“I couldn't possibly play favourites! But I’m sure it’s pretty obvious to everyone in our workshop who’s the top dog…”

(Ellie even designed the dog biscuits which are available in our Covent Garden shop which Stanley absolutely loves!)

What’s your favourite Mr Jones watch and why? 

“I find it really difficult to choose, as I love so many… but I have Ricochet and The Last Laugh myself, so I’d say those two.”
