Meet our team: Veronica
We’ve got a few new faces at our Neal Street shop who we can’t wait to introduce you to!
Each of our new shop team members will be getting their own introduction on our blog in the upcoming weeks. Today we’re getting to know our fantastic new Supervisor, Veronica.
Veronica joined us in May and works with our retail team to make sure everything is in tip-top shape in our shop. She’s a creative soul who’s bursting with ideas to make our shop experience even better. Watch this space!
Let’s get to know her a little better…
Tell us a bit about yourself…
I’m from the Canary Islands. I first came to London for a five day holiday with my friend and we did an interview as a joke for a pub role in West London.
I was curious to see if I could do an interview in English but I got the job and they offered a room above the pub with it! I told myself I would live in London for a few months, just to improve my English. Well, it’s been six years now!
What do you most like living in London?
I love the people, how everyone is different and is free to have their own style. There is always somewhere with good music, art or coffee. And the seasons in this country are stunning!
What’s your favourite MJW watch?
I love any piece with a gilded technique. The designs are very delicate and beautiful. My favourite is The Ascendent.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I do boxing as a hobby. I also love exploring London on foot and finding new coffee spots.
