Rocky describes her inspiration for the t-shirt collection:
"The inspiration behind this tongue-in-cheek collection came from the simple yet universal experience of living through the rollercoaster that is the working week.
Each day carries its own distinct vibe, from the chaos of Monday to the sweet relief of Friday. I wanted to capture that emotional arc in a way that’s relatable, humorous, and a little cheeky.
My practice centres around being playful, satirical and bold. I’m inviting you to have a laugh, wince and maybe recognise a bit of yourself in this work."
Rocky Beeson
Rocky Beeson is an Illustrator and Printmaker based in South London. She graduated with first-class honours in Illustration from the University of the Arts London in 2022.
As a Print and Art Technician at Mr Jones Watches, Rocky specialises in Artwork preparation, pad printing and gilding.
Rocky’s practice centres on playful, tongue-in-cheek illustrations that take aim at the irritations of daily life. Her ‘I see it, I hate it, I draw it’ ethos drives a body of work that is bold, satirical and rooted in personal observation. She transforms everyday annoyances into sharply executed one-off art pieces that blend humour with critique.
At the heart of her work is a willingness to turn the mirror on herself. Many of the behaviours she satirises are ones she admits to sharing, making her practice not just commentary but self-reflection.
